Learner enrolment and retention in schools in South Sudan is significantly low. We introduced education training program to help towards addressing this problem and at least ensure more learners stay more in school and improve the enrolment of both out-of-school boys and girls within the targetted communities.
Complex challenges abound at every level that have continued to threaten the safety and security of single parents especially women and girls and even undermine sustainable development objectives.
The Universal Network for Knowledge and Empowerment aims to train and empower stakeholders in the education sector to improve enrolment of learners and increase learner retention in schools.
UNKEA exists to engage teachers and parents from different parts of South Sudan as it partners with relevant networks. The organisation aims to empower learners, parents and teachers and equip them with the necessary skills to help improve education in the society.
